I was recently invited to Monday Poetry Train Revised, a site where you are encouraged weekly to submit any type of poem or prose you feel inspired to share. No prompts, so your mind is free to soar. Thank you to gautami tripathy for the invite and the wonderful site.

My first submission is an attempt at a Cinquain. I was very impressed reading some fellow writers cinquain poems so was inspired to write one myself.

  1. A delectable poem. I’m not sure if you intended it as a double entendre but it works really well without being too suggestive.
